The case for our Casement window! The pictures on the left show the many ways a Casement window frame and sash can be assembled for operating type; whether a traditional side-hinged outswing, or a top-hinged (Awning) or bottom hinged (Hopper) swing. Very popular style! This window's unique X-Drive operator mechanism allows the window to swing outward for secure ventilation and easier exterior cleaning. Designed to last longer and withstand heavier weights and winds than commonplace windows. This is one of the tightest windows possible to build. To help storm-proof them, we install two (EPDM) memory rubber compression seals as well as an edge sweep seal; all designed to help keep the blizzard outside from getting into your house. For the Awning and Casement profiles, a single handle operates the multiple-point locking mechanism which is hidden within the frame for ease, convenience and security. These windows are incredibly strong and durable and are likely to be the last windows you will ever need to buy! We would be happy to show you a sample in your home and provide you with a written quote for your replacement window project. |
